Welcome to the 2026 spring summer ILCA Sunday afternoon racing session. 1st race start time is 13:00 with several races run by a professional race officer and will include other 2 handed boat races such as Tasars. There wll also be an instructor on course to help the green fleet with tips between races (if not needed by the race officer).
If participant does not own an ILCA, they must register and pay for a boat subscription and use the GRSC booking system to reserve a boat. PLEASE do not reserve a boat if the attendee can not come and/or please cancel the booking if plans change.

Sailing is open to current members of the club. Parents and sailors must be members, and all parents are encouraged and expected to participate by volunteering to help on race days.
Our objectives
Provide the best and most enjoyable racing experience – our goal is to attract and retain sailors into each of our classes by providing a better overall sailing experience for our members than all other comparable clubs in Sydney
Provide a great learn to sail experience for youths – our goal is to provide a way for youth to develop their ILCA racing skills, be proud of and represent their club at regattas, and represent our long-term membership base.

Program Focus:
Green Fleet is an introduction to coaching and learning to train.
Green Fleet promotes practicing the fundamental skills of sailing, introduces some foundation race skills through training activities in an environment that is enjoyable, without a competition focus.
